Stimulus Tax Break: No Bread Without Cake

Well Congress better engage. Perhaps they are stalling to make their lobbyist friends and voters (one and the same) think they are still working on their side.

The fact is with a Republican majority President Obama has realized that no stimulus is going to pass through their dried up inky cracks. The fact is unemployment needs to continue and a stimulus is still needed. (Apparently I am the only one that paid attention in history class.) An economic slump needs immediate and drastic efforts in the form of stimulus for the people. Not the banks, but the people. Delay and lack of action was the cause of the Great Depression (the economic slump after the market crash of 1929 that stretched to 1934), its ebb and eventual upswing.

Obama realizes that taxes need to stay steady, even if this means more money for the wealthy who don't need a stimulus. (The wealthy who don't pay taxes anyway if they have a decent financial plan structured properly in effect.) This tax measure errr... default (for lack of increase) will serve as a faux stimulus for the economy. We know from the pain of the recent past that nothing trickles down from the wealthy to the masses except bills and well, dust from their dead skin cells!

Democrats are going to have to eat it this time and the national debt increase caused by the tax cuts to the wealthy will be this faux stimulus because it is the only form that Republicans are going let slip through their greasy greedy fat fingers!

Alas the gap between the rich and poor that was at its peak before this Great Recession will be from here to eternity. Only the wealthy will be able to afford to charter their jets to get to this private island of decent health care, plush retirement nest eggs, nice tweed and full stomachs.

"Let them eat cake" is the name of the game here. Congress is more worried about losing funding by their corporate sponsors aka lobbyists than they are of the so called budget crisis. But this time it will have to do simply because now is not the time to repay the deficit and worry about balancing budgets. (At least wait until the little guys are on their feet.) The economy needs a large uptick before this can begin. This delay in itself is a sort of stimulus. (Wars in the past have created jobs back when the government was our number one employer which it is nolonger so Obama is again keeping up wars in a flailing effort and in doing so failing American History 101. We now outsource our evil empire to corporations and well, China. If the IRS were forced to audit the Pendagon we'd be back in tip-top shape since no one has been able to do so despite oh over 7 billion and 11 computer systems.)

But at least the Federal Reserve really holds the keys to the castle and is printing like crazy also knowing that no stimulus is getting passed Congress and that our economy will nose dive without such efforts. Thank goodness for that! And the 1973 style spike in inflation and gas prices when our bills finally arrive at our door step will be an unavoidable result. When China demands payment Congress will bail and leave anyone still at the table with the bill like genuine suckers.

I do demand then that at the next session when Republicans once again falsely place blame on Democrats for the national debt that they now have sudden amnesia about when it comes to their own wallets that they are forced to remove their shoes immediately and eat their socks. Both socks preferably at once, gagging them to their deaths. The money saved by Congress on behalf of the wealthy 2% in faux stimulus taxes can be used to line their coffins in hundred dollar bills. Democrats are exempt but must dig the holes by themselves where their peers will lie.
